Taiko Drummer Profile
n 2012, while living in the UK, I began my taiko drumming career under the guidance of Joji Hirota, a renowned taiko drummer. As a member of Joji Hirota & Taiko Drummers, I performed not only within the UK but also across the Middle East and Europe.
The Japan Festival (London, UK)
Since 2018, I have been active as an instructor, composer, and performer with the Iizuna Gongen Taiko group in Iizuna Town, Nagano Prefecture. In addition to performing both locally and beyond, I am also involved in promoting the local hero, Iizuna Saburo Tengu, associated with Mount Iizuna.
